We do not receive matters through a web form. Prospective clients are invited to telephone the relevant office, or to ask their existing counsel for an introduction. Enquiries addressed to a named partner reach their secretariat directly.

Introductions are preferred. Most new instructions arrive via existing counsel, a client, or court counterpart. If you have a contact at the firm, address your enquiry to them.
Conflicts are checked first. We cannot discuss a matter substantively until conflict clearance has been obtained. A brief description of the parties is sufficient at first contact.
Confidentiality is assumed. Correspondence prior to engagement is privileged in spirit if not in law. Do not include privileged material by email until an engagement letter has been signed.
Enquiries from accredited journalists regarding firm news, awards, lateral hires and published positions may be directed to the Communications office.
Trainee, pupillage and lateral enquiries should be directed to the HR office in London. We do not accept CVs through third-party agencies.
We do not respond to unsolicited vendor approaches. Existing suppliers should contact their named relationship in the operations office.
Process addressed to the firm in its capacity as solicitor or counsel will be accepted during working hours at the registered address and date-stamped at the time of receipt.
Correspondence addressed to a named partner is routed directly to their secretariat, who will either place a call back, or arrange a brief meeting within the working week. Where the matter falls outside the partner’s area, they will refer it internally; the secretariat will confirm the referral in writing. The firm does not charge for initial triage.
